MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Some kids will be receiving clothes or hygiene products for the winter. In the last couple of years, the Minot Health Clinic has done a project where they supported children. But this year, they had an idea to do something for child welfare services — children who are removed from their homes have items to accompany them. Community Options hosts winter clothing giveaway They are collecting baby wipes, water bottles, baby bottles, socks, blankets, and pajamas. "We want it to be a little bit more personalized, more comforting because we can't imagine what it's like for those children to be taken from their homes. When I heard about it and a lot of the other staff members heard about it it hit us hard," said Trisha Fennern, a nurse practitioner & the owner of Minot Health Clinic. Leaders say they have yet to learn how much they have collected, but they have a few totes full. They're also collecting items until the end of the year. Close Thanks for signing up!
