ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – This week's Wednesday Primetime 585 Shining Star puts the spotlight on Leah Buffan, a junior in Gananda! Provided: Primetime 585 Leah is a point guard for the basketball team, which she said she hopes to continue playing in college. She's been an active member of the varsity team for three years and is considered a leader both on and off the court. Tuesday, Leah hit seven three-pointers - tying the school record! Leah is also a member of the varsity soccer team. She also volunteers for Meals on Wheels through the Church of the Resurrection and participates in can drives to support various sports programs in her district. All the while, she's managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Congratulations on all your accomplishments, Leah!
