SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Two people were injured when vehicle crashed into a San Francisco Walgreens Wednesday morning, not far from where a family a family of four waiting at a bus stop was killed earlier this year when an SUV mounted the sidewalk and plowed into them. The San Francisco Police Department got a call at 8:34 a.m. regarding a vehicle that had crashed into the front of the Walgreens at 200 West Portal.
The front of the Walgreens sustained damage, and one vehicle was also damaged, according to SFPD. Two people who were inside the store at the time sustained minor injuries.

Neither of them required hospitalization.
The San Francisco Department of Building Inspection has been informed and will need to inspect the structural integrity of the damaged area, according to police. The West Portal Walgreens will be temporarily closed.
Video from the scene showed broken glass and smashed concrete at the front of the Walgreens. The vehicle, which appeared to be a crossover SUV, looked to have sustained significant front-end damage.
The Walgreens is just a short walk away from the West Portal Muni station where a family waiting to catch a bus to San Francisco Zoo was killed back in March after a 78-year-old driver who was speeding and headed the wrong way jumped a sidewalk and crashed into a couple and their two small children with her white Mercedes SUV.
