Rossville local publishes her first holiday romance book

ROSSVILLE (KSNT) - A young author hailing from Rossville has successfully published her first book.
Rossville local Catherine Livingston who goes by the name C.B. Livingston when she's writing, has just released her first book, "The Perfect Gift." She said it is a family-friendly holiday romance novel.
Livingston started the book when she was 15 years old during a time when she was going in-and-out of a hospital after she had back surgery and had a lung removed. Battling against her health conditions, she left her book unfinished. However, after years of being absent from writing, she reconnected with her work after finding it on her laptop and decided to finish it.
"I sent it out to publishers, people asked me to change it, and I felt that there was something innocent about the way teenage me wrote it," Livingston said. "You don't have to give up on your dream because you are different."
