The therapy dog event was just one of many ways for students to relax their minds this week. One student told 22News how much these therapy dogs benefits her and her classmates.
"As a student this is a really good opportunity to relieve stress with finals coming up and everything it really gets stressful and intense, so I think this is a really good resource for all the students on campus to utilize and help to relieve and calm them," said STCC student Zoya Plunkett-Brown.
Some other events included DIY crafts, a campus spa day and free food. Event organizers say this is an important week for these students and they deserve events like this to kick off their final weeks before winter break.
