Savannah rapper Quando Rondo receives prison sentence

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah rapper Quando Rondo has been sentenced to over two years in prison.
A judge handed down Tyquian Terrel Bowman's 33-month sentence in federal court on Wednesday, which will begin on Jan. 10. He also received a $40,000 fine and three years of supervisory release after his prison time.
Bowman entered a plea agreement in August to a lesser charge as part of the drug conspiracy charges that he was accused of.

He faced a sentence of up to five years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana.
Bowman was permitted to remain out on bond until his sentencing.
In court, Bowman expressed remorse for his actions, saying he wanted to do good for the community.
On his supervisory release, Bowman will have to comply with drug testing, mental health counseling and educational training requirements.
