That’s according to a news release from Nebraska Republican Senator Deb Fischer’s office. “I am thrilled to announce that the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s University Singers will take the national stage during the 60th Presidential Inauguration. These incredibly talented students are not only representing our university, but also showcasing the spirit and excellence of Nebraska to the entire country. Their performance will be a proud moment for all Nebraskans, and I’m confident they will leave a lasting impression on the millions of Americans watching the ceremony,” said Senator Fischer in an email sent to KFOR News. UNL Chancellor Rodney Bennett also issued a statement, saying, “This is an incredible opportunity for University of Nebraska–Lincoln choral students to showcase their significant talent to the country.” The University Singers will perform outside during the inauguration.  As the flagship choral ensemble of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, the University Singers perform a wide range of choral music. They have performed in the past at Carnegie Hall and on international tours.
