LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- New Lexington Sporting Club manager Terry Boss is beginning to make signings at the position he played during his professional days; goalkeeper.
Logan Ketterer joins from CF Montreal in Major League Soccer as the first signing between the sticks for the Greens this offseason. He spent three seasons with the Canadian club.
“Every conversation I’ve had with the club has shown me their commitment to success,” said Ketterer.
The Wisconsin native has been a professional since 2017 when the Columbus Crew drafted him from Bradley University.
He had to wait until 2021 to make his MLS debut though. His first action in the league was for the Portland Timbers during a loan spell.
Ketterer has USL Championship experience too. He was on the 2020 All-League Second Team with El Paso Locomotive.
“Logan is a proven goalkeeper with the talent and mentality to anchor our defense. His professionalism and experience at this level make him a natural fit for what we’re building at Lexington SC,” said Boss.
