On Wednesday, she announced that she’ll be retiring from her longtime role leading the Economic Development Corporation of New Haven, REX Development, and Visit New HavenSee below for Wednesday’s press release in full.New Haven, CT – December 11, 2024 – The Economic Development Corporation of New Haven, REX Development, and Visit New Haven announce that Ginny Kozlowski will step down from her role as CEO effective January 3, 2025. After many years of dedicated service, Ginny has chosen to retire and pursue other interests.During her tenure, Ginny played a pivotal role in driving economic growth, regional collaboration, and tourism development in the Greater New Haven region. Under her leadership, the organizations have achieved significant milestones, including achieving recognition of the first federally recognized Economic Development District in the State of Connecticut.The Board of Directors will begin the search for her replacement immediately.
