EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - As part of the City of El Paso's annual WinterFest festivities, the El Paso International Airport will host its free Holiday Social event this week. The event will be held from 5 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the airport's Runway Plaza, located in front of the main entrance in the center of the Short-Term parking lot, the City said in a news release. The City said the event will feature snacks, drinks, giveaways, train rides, live performances by the Jazz Exchange and Robotron, LED dancing robots, and photos with Santa. Parking is free, and a temporary event parking lot will be available for attendees with a complimentary shuttle to the event. The City said the temporary lot will close after the event, and no overnight parking will be permitted. In addition, the Long-Term parking lot will also be available and validated during the event.
