CHARLOTTE, NC, November, 2024 – Queen City Audio Video & Appliances is excited to announce the acquisition of multiple Badcock Home Furnishing & More stores across North and South Carolina. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Queen City’s growth, allowing the company to serve an expanded customer base across the region. This starts the

Ranked #36 among the Top Major Appliance Retailers in the U.S. by TWICE Magazine for 2024, the company will continue to broaden its product offerings, including a more robust furniture selection, enhancing Queen City’s ability to provide customers with a convenient, one-stop shop for all their home needs.
To ensure a smooth transition and continued excellence in service, Queen City is welcoming experienced leadership and retaining many key employees from the acquired Badcock stores. Notable hires include, David Horvath, former Badcock furniture buyer; Evan Sides and Justin Klinegardner, former Badcock franchise owners; and Luis Nater, a former franchise owner who will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s strategic initiatives within the Hispanic community.
