WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — Someone has been stealing 25 m.p.h. speed limit signs from along 51st Street NW in Williston Township, west of the city near the Highway 85 Bypass. Beside the fact that it is a crime punishable by law, missing road signs can pose a hazard for drivers who may not slow down in time for road conditions or pedestrians. The Williams County Sheriff's Department says in a Facebook post that a $7,500 reward is being offered anonymously for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible.
