VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) -- An arrest has been made in the case of a Ville Platte woman who has been missing since June, authorities said. Elrick J. Gallow, 52, of Baton Rouge, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the case of Keabreonna “Keke” Doucet. Doucet, 27, was scheduled to meet her daughter on June 15 but never arrived at the meeting place. Doucet’s family said her phone was located at Chief Romeo Hargrove City Park later that day. It’s less than a mile from her home. After that, they said the phone was turned off, and it hasn’t come back on since. Gallow was arrested this morning by Ville Platte Police and is being held without bond, court records show. This developing story will be updated as more information becomes available.
