American Craft Made Baltimore will return in February

American Craft Made Baltimore will return to the Baltimore Convention Center the weekend of Feb. 21 – 23, 2025, where it will feature nearly 400 artists and makers and is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees.Craft lovers and collectors will be able to see and purchase work by artists from around the country at the American Craft Council’s (ACC) flagship event. There will be hands-on activities, craft demonstrations, events and parties to attend, and more.American Craft Made Baltimore is one of the most respected and anticipated craft fairs in the United States. It is the largest juried craft fair on the East Coast. The fair honors the art of the handmade, and fosters connection between creators and admirers, supporting the livelihoods of artists both early-career and more established.“Living with handcrafted objects and buying work from the talented people who made it brings meaning and richness to our lives,” said Andrea Specht, executive director of ACC. “American Craft Made Baltimore gives people of all ages the chance to explore and deepen their appreciation for the artful work of the human hand, and through their purchases, to support the livelihoods of American makers. It’s a one-of-a-kind celebration of craftspersonship, creativity, and expression.”The 2025 show will mark the 48th annual American Craft Made Baltimore and will feature a juried selection of work from makers at all career stages. The wide range of mediums includes ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalworking, clothing, furniture, and basketry. Attendees can meet the creators behind their favorite pieces and discover new creatives making innovative work that incorporate longstanding craft practices while pushing the boundaries of what craft can be.The ACC has a new website this year at craftcouncil.org. The site allows visitors to browse exhibiting artists, explore event activities, purchase tickets, and more.Also new for 2025 is the location in the Baltimore Convention Center. The event will be held in Swing Hall and Halls F – G, with entry through the Otterbein Lobby on Level 100.Attendees can purchase Weekend Passes that grant access to all three days of the marketplace, which gives visitors the chance to experience more of the fair than one day allows. Weekend Passes also provide access to the Artist Reception and Award Ceremony on Saturday night.There will also be an American Craft Made Kick-off Party on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Made in Baltimore, which is located at 301 Light Street, Baltimore MD. Attendees can enjoy local bites, craft cocktails, and a showcase of Baltimore’s finest makers. Cocktails and mocktails will be crafted by CAnE Collective, and in addition to the sample bites, there will be additional items for purchase from The Empanada Lady, Habesha Flavor, and MFG Toffee. Register by clicking this link.The Artist Reception and Award Party will take place on Saturday evening, Feb. 22 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Camden Lobby of the Baltimore Convention Center. This event is also free, and open to all exhibiting artists and Weekend Pass Holders. The annual awards celebrating outstanding artists will include the Awards of Excellence, the Randall Darwall Award, the Asé Design Studio Award for Excellence in Wood, and the CERF+ Emerging Artist Readiness Award.Hours for American Craft Made Baltimore are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday. The box office opens one hour prior to the start of the fair each day. Tickets bought ahead of time are $10. Day-of tickets are $15. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
