BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield Police Chief Greg Terry joined 17 News at Sunrise to talk about the status of shooting that took place at a popular southwest Bakersfield shopping mall and road improvements to deter pedestrian deaths around town. Chief Terry discussed the shooting between a 15-year-old who shot and killed another 15-year-old at the Marketplace. It's been over a month since the shooting, yet no charges have been filed. Neighbor says he saw 2 men outside trailer home before deadly Edison Hwy fire He also discussed residents having their packages stolen during the holiday season.
