'You'd better put it on the line:' Bills working to rebuild before Lions game
Dec 11, 2024
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Bills Coach Sean McDermott is working to build the team's mentality and attitude back up before their game against the Detroit Lions.
The Bills Mafia is still reeling from Sunday's loss where the Rams barely inched ahead of the Bills 44-42. Before that, the Bills had a seven-game winning streak.
McDermott said there are multiple things that went into the loss, but he is looking ahead to practicing and strengthening the team.
"I think we've got to get back to good, fundamental football, I think that's really where that starts," McDermott said. "And playing with a certain attitude and mentality."
The team needs to make sure to learn from the loss and make adjustments, according to McDermott
The latest injury report was also shared — Russell Douglas and Taylor Rapp won't practice, and Casey Toohill will be on limited. Douglass has a knee injury and Rapp has a neck injury.
In developing news, the Bills confirmed the ten new limited partners in the team's ownership, including former NBA stars Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady. They have a non-controlling part of the franchise.
