GODDARD, Kan. (KSNW) -- Three people were hurt in a crash near Goddard.
It happened shortly around 9:45 a.m. at 167th Street West and 4th Street (Central Ave.). Sedgwick County Sheriff Public Information Officer Brandon Stitt tells KSN an Apple iPhone sent a crash alert to 911 dispatch, which sent emergency personnel to the scene.

Stitt says a 33-year-old woman driving a white Ford Explorer told deputies she was distracted and missed the stop sign at 4th Street and 167th, continuing east, and into the path of a southbound marron Chevy Malibu.
The impact of the crash sent both vehicles into a black passenger car. EMS took the 66-year-old driver of the Malibu to St. Francis in critical condition. Her 15-year-old passenger went to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the white SUV was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The driver of the third car had just minor injuries.
Stitt says they are still investigating the crash. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the SUV driver could be ticketed or charged.
Stitt says that with the holiday season now upon us, many more vehicles are on the road. He urges drivers to be vigilant and avoid distracted driving.
