What We’re Tracking
A couple colder days
Rain likely Friday
Warming up by Sunday
Another rush of colder air pushes into northeast Kansas. Temperatures have dropped into the upper 20s and lower 30s with wind chills in the upper teens and lower 20s. We'll continue to see flurries in our northeastern counties through the early morning hours.
The air will stay cold on Wednesday as temperatures will be stuck in the middle to upper 30s for afternoon highs. Part of the area will warm up on Thursday for areas south of I-70 into the 40s, but staying in the 30s north.
Another system moves our way for Friday, bringing a brief warming and a rain chance on Friday into Friday evening. We'll cool back a few degrees on Saturday before warming up again. This time, even warmer weather is expected for Sunday and Monday.
