Bright Nights at Forest Park closed Wednesday due to high winds

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Spirit of Springfield announced that Bright Nights at Forest Park will be closed Wednesday night.
First Zoo Night at Bright Nights canceled due to rain forecast
The closure is due to the predicted strong wind gusts on Wednesday. Spirit of Springfield President Judy Matt said their priority is to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
Bright Nights will be back open Thursday at 5:00 p.m. A planned Zoo Night at Bright Nights scheduled for Wednesday night was also canceled earlier but will be held on December 18th.
