NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Gypsy-Rose Blanchard will be meeting readers and signing copies of her new memoir, "My Time to Stand" at The Garden District Book Shop on Dec. 13.
In her memoir, Gypsy shares her powerful story of survival, resilience and transformation, including never-before-seen family photos and personal insights. This is a rare opportunity to meet her in person before she welcomes her first baby in January.

Blanchard became known worldwide after being convicted of second degree murder for the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison. She was paroled after 8 years in 2023. Gypsy Rose's ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn was found guility of first degree murder of Gypsy Rose's mom in 2015.
She claimed that her mother subjected her to physical, mental and medical abuse.
She gained media attention with the Hulu series, "The Act" and the Lifetime series, "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up."
