EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Good morning, Winter season is upon us and our official first freeze just began this morning. If you rather stay in your warm cozy bed, we don't blame you. However, temperatures will rise but not so much. El Paso started the morning in the mid 20s but by now we should be reaching 30-degrees with temperatures expected to be at 47 by 11 a.m. While winds were stronger at around 20 mph yesterday today those winds should range from 5 to 10 mph northeast. Mostly clear skies are predicted all day, but a few clouds could possibly make their way at around 4 p.m. Temperatures will slowly drop in the upper 20s tonight. Make sure to bundle up because El Paso is in for a very cold ride.
