CSFD responds to house fire southeast of COS airport

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is on the scene of a house fire southeast of the Colorado Springs Airport as of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, according to CSFD.
CSFD said that the fire was in the attic of a house on the 4300 block of Anvil Drive, near Marksheffel Road and Bradley Road.

At 9:45 a.m., CSFD reported that the fire was knocked down and no injuries were reported. Crews continue to search for any fire that has spread by opening the roof and attic spaces.
