AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said it was searching for a suspect related to a hit-and-run crash that occurred Nov. 9 in north Austin. APD said the victim of the crash had minor injuries. According to police, the crash occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. in the 8500 block of the Research Boulevard service road heading north. APD said the suspect did not stop to render aid or call 9-1-1 and immediately left the scene following the crash. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man with an average build and medium-length hair. The suspect vehicle was described as a white, two-door GMC Truck with a white sticker in the rear window. APD said the truck might have damage in the front due to the crash. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
