ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A three-goal second period from Greece was the difference on Tuesday night as the Storm defeated Brighton/HFL/Eastridge 6-0.
Greece got on the board in the first with a goal from Trever Griffin for a 1-0 lead. Camden Monks earned the assist.
Just two minutes into the second period, Monks found the back of the net to bring the score to 2-0.
The Storm kept the momentum going with a goal from Carter Griffin for a three-goal lead, followed by a goal from Brandon Delaney that put Greece out front by four after two periods.
Wyatt Pilgrim started the scoring of the third and Carter Griffin added another for his second goal of the evening to give the Storm a 6-0 victory.
Goalie Ryan Corey earned the shutout.
Greece (3-3) next faces Fairport on Tuesday, December 17th. Brighton/HFL/Eastridge will play Spartan Hockey on Saturday, December 14th.
