GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A group of local kids got to shop until they dropped with members of the Green Bay Packers.
When Natalie Pilgrim and the other kids from 'Better Days Mentoring' arrived at Dick's Sporting Goods in Green Bay on Tuesday afternoon, they had no idea that something exciting was going to happen.
"I thought it was going to be a little walk in walk out type of thing," said Pilgrim.
Packers quarterbacks Jordan Love and Sean Clifford, wide receiver Alex McGough, kicker Brandon McManus, and offensive lineman Rasheed Walker were also there to shop with the kids. Each kid received a $300 gift card to buy anything in the store courtesy of Dick's Sporting Goods and Love's 'Hands of 10ve' Foundation.

According to its website, the foundation is to "inspire and empowers children from all backgrounds to engage in sports, promoting physical and mental well-being."
The players served as the kids personal shopping consultant for the evening.
"I hope they enjoy the day," said Jordan Love. "(They can) spend some time with guys, be able to ask some questions. I hope it inspires these kids."
"It was nice to know their experiences around the world and how they got to where they are today," Natalie said when asked about her shopping spree.
Natalie shopped with Clifford and McGough who helped her buy exercise equipment.
"We have a young boxer here, so we wanted to get her right," said Sean Clifford. "(We) got some bands, some dumbbell stuff. She's going to be ready to go, I'm going to be excited to see her future."
Dick's Sporting Goods officials also presented Love with a $2,000 check for his 'Hands of Love Foundation.' We're told that it'll help make sure that kids can attend one of his football camps next summer for free.

"These guys are such fantastic human beings, and I'm excited to be a par of doing something to give back to the community here," said Clifford.
The Packers players also signed footballs for all the kids.
Last year when Dick's Sporting Goods hosted this event, De'Vondre Campbell and Christian Watson showed up to shop with the kids.
