ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Micah Hyde is returning to the Buffalo Bills as wide receiver Deon Cain was released. Coach Sean McDermott says Hyde will be on a practice squad role and he is fully confident in the current practice squad. Cain's release was announced on social media. Hyde originally joined the Bills as a free agent in 2017 and played until 2023. During Wednesday's news conference, McDermott added everyone will practice in some form — Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman are limited, as well as Quinten Morris, Taylor Rapp, Curtis Samuel. DeWayne Carter and Tylan Grable are listed as "full." "He's a highly competitive player that has also adjusted his game to the modern NFL game," McDermott said. "He knows when it's time and he knows when it's not time."
