ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Micah Hyde is returning to the Buffalo Bills as wide receiver Deon Cain was released. Coach Sean McDermott says Hyde will be on a practice squad role and he is fully confident in the current practice squad. Cain's release was announced on social media. Hyde originally joined the Bills as a free agent in 2017 and played until 2023. During Wednesday's news conference, McDermott added everyone will practice in some form — Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman are limited, as well as Quinten Morris, Taylor Rapp, Curtis Samuel. DeWayne Carter and Tylan Grable are listed as "full." Matt Milano was even activated off injured reserve before the game. Following that game, the NFL announced that Josh Allen was their AFC Offensive Player of the Week. "He's a highly competitive player that has also adjusted his game to the modern NFL game," McDermott said. "He knows when it's time and he knows when it's not time."
