COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will temporarily close and detour the US 378 eastbound off-ramp to US 601 for road work beginning on Monday. The closure will begin at 12 p.m. on Monday, December 9, and the ramp is expected to reopen at 6 p.m. on that same day. As part of the closure, a detour route has been set up with detour signs in place in the area to direct drivers. Drivers will stay on US 378 eastbound and exit at the intersection of Vanboklen Road (SC 263) where they will continue to the roundabout for SC 273 and US 601 in Eastover.
