MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Expect temporary road closures Wednesday in a Moncks Corner neighborhood. The town said a portion of Jolly Lane and Whitesville Road will be closed for a material delivery related to an ongoing construction project. The roads connect to West Main Street. Jolly Lane will be closed for the first delivery, and Whitesville Road will be closed for the second delivery. A detour will be in place; however, local traffic will be permitted on both roads during the delivery. Map courtesy Town of Moncks Corner “Once material is delivered, both roads will be opened again. This operation is expected to be complete by the end of day,” the town said. People traveling in the area should expect delays.
