NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - Charleston County Parks is inviting people with disabilities and their families, friends, and caregivers to a holiday celebration at the Park Circle Community Building. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite western gear to meet Santa Claus and kick off the holiday season. A DJ will be on-site and refreshments will be served, according to Charleston County Parks. The Holiday Hoedown is Wednesday, December 4 from 6 - 8 p.m. at 4800 Park Circle. Officials say tickets are $4 in advance and $5 at the event. Chaperones are required but are free of charge with participant registration. To purchase advance tickets call 843-795-4386.
