ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Over 40 firefighters were called to a 2-alarm house fire in Rochester Tuesday evening.
Crews were called to the fire on Gladstone Street around 7:30 p.m. According to Lt. Jackeline Sierra, firefighters on scene found a heavy fire in the back of the vacant home on arrival. Crews worked to extinguish the fire, which was on the first and second floors as well as the attic.

Despite a small exposure concern to neighboring homes, Sierra said crews successfully contained the blaze to the one home. No other houses in the area were damaged.
