MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - One person was injured following a crash involving a school bus and two other vehicles in Madera County on Tuesday, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said on Tuesday afternoon they were at the scene of a three-vehicle minor injury crash involving a school bus in the area of Road 29 at Avenue 14 in Madera County, outside Madera.
Officers say the school bus driving on Road 29 had stopped at the intersection with Avenue 14 and a Chevrolet Aveo had stopped behind the school bus. A third vehicle, a Nissan Sentra, then crashed into the back of the Chevrolet Aveo and pushed it into the back of the school bus.
Officers say the driver of the Nissan Sentra failed to see the stopped traffic ahead, causing the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Aveo sustained minor injuries.
