WaterFire Providence to hold ‘Three Nights of Lights’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — WaterFire Providence announced its “Three Nights of Lights” will begin on Thursday, Dec. 5.
The event will host a winter market with local artists, a Santa’s village for children to take photos with Santa, and a meet and greet with characters from ‘Ballet RI’ at Market Square.
The three day festival will also host food vendors and performers.
The partial lighting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, and the fires will burn until until 9 p.m. at the Rhode Island School of Design and Memorial Park.
There will also be multiple donation boxes for Adoption Rhode Island’s Holiday Drive scattered throughout the event.
Adoption Rhode Island will accept donations of toys, clothing, household items, and gift cards for teens that are getting ready to age out of foster care.
The “Three Nights of Lights” will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with some events having varied activity times.
