WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Warwick is now officially home to Rhode Island's second Raising Cane's. Raising Cane's, a popular fast-food chain known for its chicken fingers, officially opened another restaurant Tuesday off Bald Hill Road near the Warwick Mall. The new restaurant features a double-lane drive-thru and a dining room celebrating everything the city, and state as a whole, have to offer. Rhode Island's first Raising Cane's opened at Stonehill Market Place in Johnston earlier this year. Raising Cane's also opened another restaurant off of Highland Avenue in Seekonk, which is just over the state line. The Louisiana-based chain primarily serves chicken fingers, along with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and its signature "Cane's Sauce." The new Warwick restaurant replaces Red Rice, which was a locally-owned restaurant that offered "contemporary Asian" cuisine.
