CLAY COUNTY, Mo. — A woman is facing charges after investigators say she stole dozens of packages from porches throughout Clay County last weekend.
Clay County sheriff's deputies arrested Kayley Worthington, 24, of Excelsior Springs, on one count of felony theft and one count of felony possession of a controlled substance. She is being held in jail on a $20,000 bond.

If she is able to post bond, she is not allowed within 100 feet of anyone's porch other than her own. More charges against other suspects are possible.
According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office, there were multiple reports on social media of packages being stolen in Liberty, Smithville and Kansas City, North.
The investigation led officers to a home in Excelsior Springs on Monday evening where they located Worthington and took her into custody. A probable cause statement says investigators recovered 51 stolen items and methamphetamine in the home.
All told there was approximately $2,000 worth of items taken from nine victims. FOX4 spoke with multiple suspected victims. Courtney Meyers said her family was home last Wednesday near 152 Highway and Brighton getting ready for the day.
"It felt incredibly violating. she walks, you can see in the video, she walks right up to our front doorstep and takes the package," Meyers recounted.
"She even looks at the camera, she knows the camera is there and does not care, so it's very violating."

Lara Anderson said she had $500 worth of packages taken off her steps, packages that were toys intended to be given to children in need.
"That one just really breaks your heart, that you were trying to do something good, for kids that were going to have good holidays, and then they got stolen," she said.
