Our Weather Watchers were busy this morning snapping incredible pics of the clouds hugging the Franklin Mountains. The pictures below are from Brenda Yocom and Jerry Oakes. TONIGHT: The skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. It will be a mild night with a low of 44. The NE-east breeze will range from 5-10 mph.
FORECAST: Wednesday will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with warmer breezes and a high of 67. The winds shift west-NW at 5-15 mph. On Thursday, a low-pressure system begins to move over the Borderland. We'll turn cloudy with a few drops here and there as well as a slight chance of isolated area t-storms. Thursday's high: 60. The NE winds will range from 10-25 mph. Friday will be mostly cloudy with light rain. It will be a chilly day with a high of 59. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and chilly with a continued chance of light rain showers. Saturday's high: 58. The clouds clear away on Sunday as warmer winds move in. With a high of 65, the west winds will gust to near 30 mph. Monday will be mostly sunny and windy with a high of 67.
