PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police said they were investigating a shooting near DuVal High School in Lanham Tuesday that left a teenager hurt. The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said it received a call about the shooting at 3:15 p.m. The location of the shooting was the 9800 block of Good Hope Rd. The address of DuVal High School is 9880 Good Hope Rd. Man charged in connection to shooting death of DMV activist Cornelius McDonald PGPD said the boy who was hit by gunfire had critcal injuries when medics took him to the hospital, but they expected him to survive. Police did not have information about the person or people responsible for the shooting. PGPD stressed that the shooting did not take place at the high school.
