LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Town of Leesburg will be throwing its annual Christmas and Holiday parade.
The parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14. and will begin at 6 p.m. Santa and his friends will head down King Street and "through the heart of historic Leesburg."

In preparation for the parade, starting at 5:30 p.m., King Street from Battlefield Parkway to Catoctin Circle will be closed to traffic. Roads will reopen after the parade finishes and is cleaned up.
The parade starts at Ida Lee Drive and will end at Fairfax Street.
Drivers should find other ways around to avoid delays.
