LOS BANOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man has been arrested in Los Banos following a traffic stop regarding an equipment violation back in November, the Los Banos Police Department said on Tuesday. Police say their gang unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of West I Street and Hawthorne Drive in Los Banos for an equipment violation on Nov. 23 at 1:48 p.m. The Los Banos Police Department says the stop resulted in the arrest of a man identified as Michael Chavez, 19. He was arrested under suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
