Fresno State QB Mikey Keene enters Transfer Portal

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE)– Fresno State junior quarterback Mikey Keene announced on Tuesday that he will be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal. Keene will be entering the portal with one year of NCAA eligibility remaining.
Keene was the Bulldogs' starting quarterback for the last two seasons. He transferred to Fresno State from UCF. The Bulldogs finished the regular season at 6-6 this year.
This season, Keene completed 277 passes on 393 attempts for 2,892 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also threw 11 interceptions and was sacked 25 times. The 11 interceptions and 25 sacks this year is the most in Keene's college career.
Keene announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on X.
"To my teammates, it's been a great ride and I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else. I will always have love for every one of you guys! With that being said I will be entering my name into the transfer portal with one year of eligibility left."
