Clovis police investigating death of oneyearold child

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Clovis Police Department is investigating the death of a one-year-old. Police said the infant was transported to the Plains Regional Medical Center by ambulance last Wednesday but later died.
Man involved in 2022 shooting death of UNM student arrested on probation violation
Officers said the infant had bruising to his forehead and face and when police asked about the injuries, the mother told them the child fell three days prior and was seen by a doctor. The Office of the Medical Investigator is performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
