Tuesday evening has a weak area of low pressure coming through with light snow showers. The chances of them making it to the ground are slight and no accumulation is expected. In fact, overnight tonight we will have clear skies and lows will once again drop off to near 20. Wednesday starts out with sunshine but clouds build in through the afternoon. Wednesday night a small storm system comes through with rain and mixing with snow in northern Providence County and western Kent County in RI and northern Bristol County in MA. Little to no accumulation is expected in areas that see snow as the higher elevations will be the bigger accumulators. The rain/ mix continues into Thursday and winds down Thursday afternoon and temperatures make it to the 40s. Thursday will also be a very windy day with gusts possible of 35-40 mph. Colder air rushes in behind the storm and Friday looks to be the coldest day of the week with highs closer to 30 even with a day of sunshine. The weekend will be mostly sunny with moderating temperatures into the 40s for highs by Sunday. Unsettled weather returns with a good chance of rain Monday and Tuesday, but it will be much warmer with highs near 55 Tuesday. Categories: News, Weather Forecast
