EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Sun Bowl Association is hosting a Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Selection gathering this Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino. The Sun Bowl Association says the gathering will be from 12:30 p.m. through 2:30 p.m. this Sunday and will be free and open to the public. The two teams who will be playing in the 91st Annual Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl will be announced at around 1 p.m. with Sun Bowl Football Chairman John Folmer, Sun Bowl Association President Michael Guerra and Sun Bowl Executive Director Bernie Olivas making the announcement. The 91st Annual Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl will feature a team from the ACC taking on a team from the former Pac-12 Conference at the Sun Bowl Stadium at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
