BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- LSU football offensive tackle Will Campbell said he won't be back for his senior year, announcing his decision to declare for the 2025 NFL draft. In a social media post Tuesday, Campbell thanked the LSU football coaching and support staff, teammates, fans and family members for their support. "Over the past three years, I was blessed to live out my childhood dream of being an LSU Tiger. I give all the glory to God for these opportunities," he said. Campbell, a junior from Monroe, was recognized as one of the top left tackles in college football going into this year's season. He was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week after LSU's game against Vanderbilt. He's a finalist for the Lombardi Award and a semifinalist for the Outland Trophy, according to LSU Athletics.
