BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that left a male dead in Taft on Nov. 27. Officials with the sheriff's office say deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Crystal Street Wednesday around 10 p.m. for the report of a male suffering trauma to his torso. Medical personnel declared the male dead at the scene. Homicide detectives are investigating the case.
