SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Dry skies this morning with temperatures in the single digits and teens. Throw in a little wind, and wind chills are near zero.  Skies will be mostly sunny to part cloudy today as highs warm to the 30s in eastern/northeast KELOLAND to the 60s in western South Dakota. Dry tonight as lows fall to the 20s and 30s. The timing of a cold front will be the driver behind high temperatures tomorrow.  Expect highs early in the day before much colder air comes in riding STRONG northerly winds.  By the afternoon, temperatures will be steady or falling.  The colder air may squeeze out a couple of flurries, but moisture remains limited.  As northwest flow continues Thursday, flurries and light snow showers will line up from northwest South Dakota to southeast KELOLAND.  It’s the same setup we’ve had over the past week or two, so a quick inch of snow will be possible for some. Temperatures will warm for the weekend with highs returning to the 40s in eastern KELOLAND.
