BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — CMN Miracles on 34th Street Day of Giving is happening Tuesday at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital and Bettina Kinsman, NICU manager, joined 17 News at Sunrise to discuss the importance of coming together as a community in support of caring for children. Currently in Kern County, there are 12 patients in NICU, 4 in PICU, and 11 in pediatric patients along with 132 recently seen in the ER yesterday. Kinsman, who has been working at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital for 35 years, is one of the many important medical personnels who help children in need and families stay together.
