TONIGHT
Another pretty cold night tonight with late night lows in the upper teens and lower 20s under a mix of clouds and stars.
TOMORROW
Another frigid start. Sun will give way to clouds tomorrow, but we'll stay dry. Temperatures will be a smidge warmer as southwesterly winds develop, but afternoon highs will still be below average for this time of year.
LOOKING AHEAD
After the evening, commute, we'll see some rain showers develop Wednesday evening, perhaps mixing with some wet snow north and west of Providence.
Snow will be working into northwest Rhode Island through the night into Thursday morning. Most spots will stay all rain but some wet snow flakes are certainly possible in the Providence metro area Thursday morning.
Snow accumulations will be small and limited to areas well north and west of I-295 in Rhode Island. A coating to maybe an inch there....those 1" amounts will be in the highest of elevations. Folks traveling into central and western MA could see a little more...1-3".
That rain/snow should be done by 9-10am, but another quick snow shower is possible Thursday afternoon. It'll get windy on Thursday with early afternoon highs in the low 40s.
