2 selfserve mini pantries coming to Prince George's County to fight food insecurity

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Two new self-serve mini pantries are coming to Prince George's County in celebration of Giving Tuesday.
Priority Partners, Maryland's biggest Medicaid managed care organization is unveiling the mini pantries from the Priority Partners Cupboards Project on Tuesday.

"Priority Partners is committed to improving access to food in underserved Maryland communities," Priority Partners CEO Ed Kumian stated in a news release. "By opening our sixth and seventh Cupboards, we are providing another way for neighbors to put food on their tables. This is a year-round priority, but has extra meaning this holiday season."
Location of the two pantries in Prince George's County:
The Laurel Armory, located at 422 Montgomery St.
Bladensburg Town Hall, located at 4229 Edmonston Road
The two mini pantries will be the first ones coming to the county. Five other mini pantries have been placed around Maryland.
The mini pantries provide residents with free healthy food along with nutrition resources.
