Stick here for live updates and analysis as Denver hosts the Browns at Empower Field at Mile High. Live updates FINAL | Broncos 41, Browns 32 If the nation didn’t know anything about Sean Payton’s team before tuning in to see rookie quarterback Bo Nix and Denver against Jameis Winston and Cleveland, perhaps it expected more of the same. Instead, they and the capacity crowd at Empower Field were treated to a Loony Toons, fully out-of-pocket rager. The bottom line is what matters: The Broncos polished off a 41-32 victory, moved to 8-5 and in the process solidified their position as real playoff contenders as they go into their Week 14 bye. Read Parker Gabriel’s full game analysis. Take Our Poll More Broncos coverage Renck: Ugly win, featuring too much Jerry Jeudy, clarifies who the Broncos are — real playoff contenders. Broncos Four Downs: Jerry Jeudy’s record-setting night shows Broncos Country how much it missed Riley Moss. Broncos Rookie Watch: Bo Nix delivers up-and-down performance, Jonah Elliss continues to show potential of bright future. Broncos Mailbag Fourth-quarter updates Huge penalty. Doens’t matter. (9:43 p.m.): Kris Abrams-Draine had a 36-yard pass interference penalty that took the Browns to the Broncos 2-yard line. Then Cody Barton picks it off and tried to take it all the way back for a touchdown himself. He took it about halfway. Ballgame, Broncos. — Nguyen Picked (9:35 p.m.): J-Mac’s a baller, man. Wow. — McFadden Ja’Quan McMillian just went up and picked off Jameis Winston and then took it back for a pick-six. Broncos 41, Browns 32 with 1:48 to go. — Nguyen And there it is. Pick-6 from McMillian. What a flippin’ game! — Schubert Having a day (9:34 p.m.): Jameis Winston has thrown for 460 yards — a new Browns franchise record. Maybe he’s better than Deshaun Watson? — Schubert Rookie issues (9:32 p.m.): And Jameis burns the rookie on third-and-12. Amazing toe-tap catch. — Schubert Personnel change (9:31 p.m.): Kris Abrams-Draine out on the field. No more Levi Wallace. — Schubert Sacked (9:30 p.m.): And the Broncos pass rush gets home on first down. Jonathon Cooper and Co. — Schubert Drive (9:29 p.m.): Jameis Winston and the Browns get the ball at their 25 with 2:54 to go. — Schubert Field goal, Broncos (9:27 p.m.): Denver’s Wil Lutz nails the 27-yard field goal. Broncos 34, Browns 32. — Nguyen And Payton thinks better of it. Wil Lutz drills a 27-yarder. It’s 34-32 Broncos with 2:54 left. HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS! — Schubert Decision time (9:27 p.m.): Interesting decision here. Do you factor in that Cleveland’s kicker is shaky? Or do you just assume a touchdown is needed to win this? — Schubert Fourth down (9:26 p.m.): Fourth-and-1. Gut check time for the Broncos. Gotta go for it. And Sean Payton calls a timeout. — Schubert 100-yard day (9:25 p.m.): Courtland Sutton now over 100 yards receiving. Everybody is putting up numbers tonight. Broncos now at the Browns’ 20 with 4:30 left. — Schubert Jaleel’s day (9:23 p.m.): Jaleel McLaughlin hasn’t run this well all season. Now at 14 carries for 84 yards. He’s the guy tonight. — Schubert Touchdown, Browns (9:14 p.m.): Jameis Winston finds Nick Chubb for a 5-yard touchdown. A nine-play, 72-yard drive. Browns 32, Broncos 31 with 8:57 to go. — Nguyen Broken record (9:14 p.m.): Jerry Jeudy just set a new all-time single-game record for receiving yards against the #Broncos — 219. Old record was 213, set back in ’65. Woof. — Keeler Jameis-to-Jeudy (9:13 p.m.): Jameis to Jeudy. Again. First-and-goal. — Schubert Delay of game (9:12 p.m.): Make it third-and-15. Browns are unraveling. — Schubert PSII (9:12 p.m.): Followed by Pat Surtain jarring the ball loose on a short throw to Jerry Jeudy. It’s third-and-10 in Broncos territory. — Schubert Casa Bonitto (9:10 p.m.): Nik Bonitto gets in on the action again. Oklahoma product is having one hell of a game in primetime. — Schubert Icarus (9:07 p.m.): Bo Nix flew too close to the sun too many times. Denzel Ward picks him off. — Nguyen That was unnecessary. Just run the ball. That is Nix’s first multi-pick game since Week 2. Felt forced. — Renck Bo Nix got greedy, and finally looks like a rookie. Browns are driving and Jerry Jeudy is now over 200 yards receiving. Good gravy. — Schubert Casa Bonitto (9:02 p.m.): Nik Bonitto is introducing himself to America. And it is glorious. — Schubert Sack split by Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper. — Nguyen Third-quarter analysis — Broncos 31, Browns 25 Sean Keeler, sports columnist: We’ve rolled the clock back to the AFL days on this one, kids. And 31 points might not be enough if Jerry Jeudy keeps playing like he’s some unholy combo of Megatron and Sonic The Hedgehog. Buckle up. Matt Schubert, sports editor: Fun game! Third-quarter updates McMillian stop (8:58 p.m.): McMillian with one HECK of a stop on the perimeter on third-and-1. That’s a man’s play from the cornerback. — Schubert Field goal, Broncos (8:54 p.m.): Broncos settle for a 36-yard field goal by Wil Lutz to cap off a 10-play, 78-yard drive. Broncos 31, Browns 25 with 1:52 to go in the third quarter. — Nguyen Say it to believe it (8:53 p.m.): Did Bo Nix just say “jump offside” at the end of that? — Schubert CFB (8:51 p.m.): This is quite a Big 12 game we’ve got going here. — Gabriel Run game (8:50 p.m.): Broncos settling game down with run game. It is necessary. And it gives defense a break. Broncos have been gashed repeatedly. This kind of drive can help both sides hit reset button. — Renck Big gain (8:47 p.m.): And then he throws an absolute dart on the run to Courtland Sutton. Nix has really turned into something, hasn’t he? — Schubert Veteran play (8:47 p.m.): Heady play from Bo Nix to avoid the safety. That’s a veteran play. Not a rookie play. — Schubert Penalties (8:36 p.m.): Garett Bolles has been penalized three times this evening. — McFadden Touchdown, Browns (8:31 p.m.): Answered. Jameis WInston with the 70-yard touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy converts the two-point conversion. Broncos 28, Browns 25. — Nguyen AND BACK COMES JERRY JEUDY!!! Good lord, we got ourselves a Big 12 game, circa 2018. — Schubert Levi Wallace is going to want to race to the facility and burn this game film. Jeudy torches him for a 70-yard TD reception. Mims has biggest play of career. And Jeudy counters. Jeudy has 167 yards receiving, including two catches for 114 yards. Any question on Riley Moss’ value has been answered. — Renck If this were a college game, it’d end with a flag-planting and fists. Oh, Jerry. If we saw THIS for 4 years, you’d have never been dealt, dude. — Keeler Touchdown, Broncos (8:26 p.m.): Bo Nix zipped a huge deep pass to Marvin Mims Jr., who takes it 93 yards en route to a touchdown. Three plays, 92 yards on that drive. Broncos 28, Browns 17 with 10:01 to go in the third quarter. — Nguyen NIX. MIMS. 93 YARDS TO THE CRIB. : #CLEvsDEN on ESPN: Stream on #NFLPlus pic.twitter.com/pHzTvYKEoK — NFL (@NFL) December 3, 2024 There is the long pass to Mims we have been waiting for. There is irony that it happens on night Jeudy is in the building. Mims goes for 93 yards on laser beam from Bo Nix. Broncos 28-17. — Renck What. A. Throw. That was a dart from Bo Nix to Marvin Mims Jr. for a touchdown. Dare I say, the best throw he’s made all season?!?! (And he’s made some good ones.) — Schubert That throw just replaced Nix’s pass to Vele against the Falcons as his best throw of the season. I’m speechless. — McFadden Injury update (8:20 p.m.): Broncos safety Brandon Jones is questionable to return with a groin injury. — McFadden Dropped the ball (8:18 p.m.): Tough to turn a 9-yard run on first down into a punt but the Broncos did it there. — Gabriel The extremely rare incompletion to Devaughn Vele on third down. And the ball is going back to the Browns. Broncos are playing with fire right now. — Schubert Four-and-out (8:13 p.m.): After allowing a first down to start the second half, the Broncos defense stalled the Browns’ drive. Denver will start the ball at its own 12-yard line. — Nguyen Halftime analysis — Broncos 21, Browns 17 Ryan McFadden, beat writer: This defense badly needs the bye week. Sean Keeler, sports columnist: Halftime takeaway: The Broncos are extremely fortunate Jameis Winston didn’t sign with Vegas earlier this year. Meanwhile, our old pal the Jeudster is on a pace to grab 10 balls for 194 yards, which is the fantasy football equivalent of rubbing Sean Payton’s nose in it. Matt Schubert, sports editor: The Broncos lead at the break, and they’re fortunate that’s the case. Take away that pick-6 and missed field goal, and Denver would be in trouble right now. This much is certain: Bo Nix and the Broncos offense are going to have to make some plays to win this one, halftime lead or not. Second-quarter updates Touchdown, Browns (7:50 p.m.): Jameis Winston to David Njoku again. This time a 4-yard arching pass over the defense to cap off an 11-play, 70-yard drive. Broncos 21, Browns 17 with 13 seconds to go in the half. — Nguyen Troy’s man again! David Njoku is turning into a real problem for the Broncos tonight. Remember, the Browns get the ball to start the second half. Despite all of the self-inflicted wounds, Cleveland is still very much in this thing. — Schubert Winston with his second TD pass to Njoku. Man, Broncos could use a TE like that. Got an old-fashioned WAC game developing here. Broncos lead 21-17 at half. Broncos winning a shootout is not ideal script. Browns have 298 yards of offense, 241 from Winston. — Renck Jameis Winston is already at 32 drop-backs in the first half. If the Broncos continue scoring, we might see him on 60-attempt watch. — Gabriel Jeudy’s return (7:47 p.m.): Jeudy has five catches for 97 yards in the first half. — McFadden Jeudy having a legacy game. And Broncos leading 21-10. Jeudy had two 100-yard games at home with Broncos. He has 97 yards in the first half. As I wrote, Broncos and Jeudy are better off without each other. He needed fresh start. And they have integrated rookies. — Renck Jerry Jeudy needs three yards for his third career 100-yard game at Empower Field. — Gabriel The experience (7:41 p.m.): We’re getting the full Jameis Winston Experience tonight at Empower Field. There’s a reason he’s on Team No. 3. — Schubert Casa Bonitto (7:38 p.m.): He does it all! Nik Bonitto gets the pick six on Jameis Winston. — Nguyen Nik Bonitto … What. A. Year. — Schubert Nik Bonitto’s third year leap has been incredible to watch. 10 sacks and a pick six on the season. He should be in the Pro Bowl this year. — McFadden Broncos dropped Nik Bonitto into coverage at the snap. That had shades of Von Miller vs. Patriots in AFC Championship game. Bonitto with the pick six. I don’t like edge rushers in coverage. But like it a lot better when it’s not downfield or on the wheel route. Broncos lead 21-10. — Renck Touchdown, Broncos (7:28 p.m.): Drive capped off by a 1-yard touchdown run by Michael Burton. Broncos 14, Browns 10 with 4:03 to go in the half. — Nguyen Broncos go 67 yards on six plays. Burton with the score. Close call on what Payton loves more — Greenbrier Resort or a reliable fullback. — Renck Back-to-back-to-back plays (7:27 p.m.): A nice catch by Nate Adkins followed by a nifty catch-and-run by Troy Franklin has Denver at the goal line. — Nguyen Broncos offense shakes out of its funk. Per usual, Sutton the catalyst. That leads to pass to Adkins and tunnel screen to Franklin to to 1-yard line. Since the TD drive, #Broncos had gone either three-and-out or had the ball picked. This was necessary boost. — Renck Third-down conversion (7:25 p.m.): Third-and-2? How about a 19-yard gain on that Courtland Sutton catch? — Nguyen Where’s Estime? (7:24 p.m.): I’m just a guy with a computer but I thought that one Audric Estime carry looked pretty good. — Gabriel Javonte Williams has four carries for one yard. Estime recorded six yards on his only attempt. I’m not a coach but that might be sign to give the rookie more carries. — McFadden Rough patch (7:22 p.m.): After Nix started off 5 for 8 on pass attempts, he has completed just one of his last 7 throws. Broncos need to find some rhythm in the passing game and fast. — McFadden Three-and-out (7:20 p.m.): The Broncos defense stops Cleveland. Denver will get the ball back at its own 33. — Nguyen The only thing keeping the Broncos in this game right now is Jameis Winston struggling to connect with wide-open receivers. This could easily be a two-possession game. — Schubert Just a tad overthrown (7:18 p.m.): Another missed throw for Jameis Winston. — Schubert Jeudy would’ve scored if Winston hit him. Broncos catch another break. — McFadden Rough start (7:17 p.m.): The first quarter and a half of this game is not doing a lot for Bo Nix’s rookie of the year campaign. — Schubert Broncos are out of sync offensively. Falling into the pass-happy mode. They have passed 15 times. They have run nine. Need balance vs this Browns defense. — Renck Three-and-out (7:16 p.m.): Bo Nix tried going deep to Courtland Sutton. No dice. — Nguyen Maybe try something else (7:16 p.m.): The quick passing game is not looking great tonight for the Broncos. — Schubert Gameplan (7:14 p.m.): The Browns offensive line has put an emphasis on neutralizing Zach Allen. The Broncos defensive end has been doubled teamed six times per NFL’s Next Gen Stats. — McFadden Comparison (7:12 p.m.): Justin Strnad reminds me of how Broncos envisioned Will Parks. As a hybrid safety/LB. Strnad moves well in space. But run stuffing is not his strength. — Renck Field goal, Browns (7:10 p.m.): Browns settle for a 45-yard field goal. Browns 10, Broncos 7 with 8:49 to go in the second quarter. — Nguyen Coverage (7:10 p.m.): Justin Strnad in on coverage of Jerry Jeudy?!?!? — Schubert Sacked (7:09 p.m.): Five sacks on the season now for third-round Broncos rookie OLB Jonah Elliss. He’s going to be a good one. — Gabriel Big gain (7:08 p.m.): Strnad has nifty deflection on first down. But then Ford jukes him for big gain. — Renck Picked (7:02 p.m.): Nix is pressured by Myles Garrett before his throw is tipped and picked off by Greg Newsome. — McFadden That is one of the wildest caroms you will ever see. Given some of Bo Nix’s turnover luck earlier in the season, he was probably due for one of those. — Schubert Rookie skills (7:01 p.m.): Audric Estime gets into the game and guess what happens? Broncos go forward on first down. — Gabriel Three-and-out (6:56 p.m.): Broncos on third-and-long had Damarri Mathis on Njoku. Ja’Quan McMillian broke up a pass for Elijah Moore. — Gabriel Jameis Winston missed a WIDE OPEN Jerry Jeudy on second down. Broncos are dodging bullets right now. — Schubert Vance working through combinations without Moss tonight. That third-and-long was dime with three safeties — Jones, Locke and Devon Key — plus Surtain, McMillian and Damarri Mathis. — Gabriel First-quarter analysis — Broncos 7, Browns 7 Ryan McFadden, beat writer: The Browns came to play tonight. This game has a chance to be close than expected. Sean Keeler, sports columnist: Broncos are dang lucky the Browns didn’t challenge that incompletion ruling. Also, get well soon, Riley Moss. Seriously. You’ve been missed. Troy Renck, sports columnist: Broncos need to make some adjustments. Defense allowed 142 yards in first quarter. Time to have Surtain follow Jeudy. And figure out a way to bracket Njoku or bump off the line. Offensively, Broncos need to find a RB and stick with it. This rotation is a buzz kill to say nothing of a drive kill on first and second down. Matt Schubert, sports editor: The Browns passing game is getting chunk yardage, and the Broncos are lucky they’re not trailing right now given the missed field goal and bang-bang incompletion call. This is starting to look less and less like a gimme game right now. First-quarter updates No connection (6:47 p.m.): One day Bo Nix and Troy Franklin will connect on those deep throws. — McFadden It’s kind of wild that Bo Nix and Troy Franklin played together two years at Oregon and Franklin’s about the only one with whom Nix has absolutely no chemistry with so far this season. — Gabriel Thought Bo Nix could have run for first down on that third down play. Long toss to Franklin, who adjusted late to flight of the ball. So it was a 21-second drive. — Renck Touchdown, Browns? (6:46 p.m.): No. It’s not. Bo Nix threw an incompletion to Adam Trautman. — Nguyen Injury (6:45 p.m.): Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore just went into the blue medical tent. — McFadden Touchdown, Browns (6:41 p.m.): Again, that guy David Njoku. Troy was right. Broncos should’ve traded for them while they could. Broncos defense is one errant pass to David Njoku from potentially giving up 14 points on Cleveland’s first two drives. — Schubert Jameis Winston finds David Njoku for the 8-yard touchdown. Five plays for 70 yards on that drive. Broncos 7, Browns 7 with 1:09 to go in the first quarter. — Nguyen I like Njoku. He’s not great. But he’s good. And that’s light years ahead of where Broncos tight end room is. Been ranked near the bottom for three years. At least we could brag about Greg Dulcich’s hair. Now, we don’t even have that. — Renck Riley Moss’ absence is looming pretty large after Cleveland went right down the field against the Broncos’ defense. — Gabriel Jameis’ stat line (6:40 p.m.): Winston is 3 for 4 with 99 yards already. — McFadden Njoku (6:40 p.m.): Troy’s trade target David Njoku getting separation early on. — Schubert Cleveland’s offensive weapons giving the Broncos all kinds of problems so far. — Gabriel Third-down game (6:38 p.m.): It’s hard to overstate the turnaround the Broncos have made on third-down as the season’s gone along. Through seven games they were 26.4%, No. 31 in the NFL. They’re at 51.4% over their past five and off to a 3/4 start tonight. — Gabriel Touchdown, Broncos (6:33 p.m.): Javonte Williams scores on a 2-yard touchdown run. — McFadden Well, second time’s the charm for Javonte Williams, too. — Gabriel If at first, and at second, you don’t succeed, draw, draw again. — Keeler Javonte Williams is averaging 0.3 yards per carry. And has one touchdown. — Schubert Twelve plays for 63 yards on that drive for Denver, capped off by a 2-yard touchdown run by Javonte Williams. Broncos 7, Browns 0 with 4:13 to go in the first quarter. — Nguyen Javonte 3 carries for 1 yard. Yeah, checks out. — Renck Javonte’s rough start (6:33 p.m.): Javonte Williams is a lot of things. A goal line back, he is not. — Gabriel Huge catch (6:32 p.m.): Devaughn Vele with a spectacular catch at the 1-yard line. — Nguyen Third-down conversion (6:30 p.m.): Third-and-5 and Bo Nix found Courtland Sutton for an 8-yard gain. Broncos in the red zone. — Nguyen Courtland Sutton immediately atones for his drop with a fantastic third-down catch. — Schubert Down the middle (6:30 p.m.): Lucas Krull just caught a 100 mph fastball. — Schubert Krull caught a 100-mph fastball. Fitting for a guy who used to throw a 98-mph FB in college from the left side. … Anyway, It is obvious the trust Nix has in Sutton. He looks for him a lot. But especially on third down. — Renck Redemption (6:28 p.m.): Second time’s the charm for Courtland Sutton. — Gabriel Dropped (6:28 p.m.): Courtland Sutton paying homage to Jeudy in worst way possible. Awful drop. — Renck 5:57 into the game — first “Jeudy Jeudy drop” joke circulates through the press box. There will be more. — Keeler Running fast (6:27 p.m.): American Idol auditions continue at RB. Jaleel McLaughlin gets his first crack and goes for 12 yards. Hot hand alert. — Renck Field goal, no good (6:24 p.m.): Cleveland kicker Dustin Hopkins misses the 47-yard field goal. Denver gets the ball at its own 37. Broncos 0, Browns 0 with 10:16 to go in the first. — Nguyen And then they get ever luckier with a missed field goal. Couple of bullets dodged, back to back. — Schubert Browns’ Hopkins yanks 47-yarder wide left. He is 15-for-22 this season. That’s, um, not good. — Renck Real missed chance there for Cleveland. Winston had Njoku wide open on third down and then Hopkins yanked the FG attempt to the left. — Gabriel Defense bends doesn’t break (6:23 p.m.): On third down the Broncos had Pat Surtain II on Jeudy in the slot. Didn’t travel with Jeudy otherwise on the first drive. — Gabriel Broncos get lucky with just a plain bad throw from Jameis Winston on third-and-4. — Schubert Return (6:20 p.m.): Welcome back to Denver, Jerry Jeudy. 44 yards on a beauty of a play-action on Cleveland’s first play of the night. — Gabriel Jerry Jeudy with maybe the third- or fourth-best reception he’s ever had at Empower Field. — Schubert Everyone bites on play-action and Jerry Jeudy goes for 44 yards on Browns’ first play. Pat Surtain II wasn’t covering him. Don’t like that. At all. Need to follow him. — Renck Three-and-out (6:19 p.m.): Three plays, 7 yards for the Broncos on their opening drive. — Nguyen No pep (6:18 p.m.): It does not appear Javonte has it tonight. Time to go to Estime. No seriously. It’s time. — Renck Flag planter (6:15 p.m.): Mark Jackson, one of the Three Amigos receivers, planted the Broncos flag before the game. — Renck Coin toss (6:15 p.m.): Monday Night Football remains very cool — except for deadline, of course. We’re ready to roll at Empower Field. Broncos get the ball first. — Gabriel Pre-game updates Bo-lieve (5:21 p.m.): Several Bo Nix signs in the crowd tonight. Best one I have seen so far: I Bolieve! written above Bo Nix as Santa Claus. — Renck Inactives (4:50 p.m.): With CB Riley Moss (knee) out, rookie Kris Abrams-Draine is active for the first time this year. The rest of Denver’s inactives: LB Drew Sanders, G Nick Gargiulo, OT Frank Crum, DL Eyioma Uwazurike and QB Zach Wilson. Wilson will serve as the emergency third quarterback. — McFadden Crossbar (4:31 p.m.): Broncos QBs had a quick game of crossbar going from the 40-yard line. Bo Nix hit the right upright. Didn’t see a connection with the crossbar itself. — Gabriel Happy Monday, everyone, from Empower Field (4:06 p.m.): It’s the first Broncos’ home Monday Night Football game since 2020 and the first with a full stadium since 2018. Denver’s got a chance to get to its bye week at 8-5 and solidly in the playoff picture. They’ll still have the inside track even with a loss to Cleveland, but Sean Payton’s team has been playing good ball and of course wants to hit their Week 14 bye on a high note. Just a beauty of an evening shaping up on the Front Range. A couple of Broncos transactions already made: They’ve downgraded WR Josh Reynolds to out, meaning he will not be activated from injured reserve today. They’ll have to make a decision whether to return him to the 53-man roster or place him back on IR, which would end his season, tomorrow. Denver also elevated OL Nick Gargiulo from the practice squad. He was up last week, too, but then was made inactive. — Gabriel Scouting report (3 p.m.): Check out how the Broncos match up with the Browns in Ryan McFadden’s scouting report. Game predictions Parker Gabriel, beat writer: Broncos 23, Browns 17 The opportunity staring Denver in the face is enormous. Get to 8-5. Hit the bye week knowing you’ll hit mid-December no less than two games clear in the playoff race. Turn a late off week that drew groans early in the season into a force for good, a reset, and a launching pad into the final four games. This team’s taken advantage of most of its opportunities this year. No way they want to let this one slip by. This much seems like a good bet, though: Jameis Winston, Myles Garrett and the Browns won’t make it particularly easy. Ryan McFadden, beat writer: Broncos 24, Browns 16 The Browns are bad but shouldn’t be taken lightly. Just ask the Ravens and Steelers, who watched themselves get upset by Jameis Winston and company. Denver has done a good job of beating the teams that it should beat. Expect that narrative to continue on Monday night. Troy Renck, columnist: Broncos 24, Browns 17 The Bo Show goes prime time, offering a chance for Bo Nix to strengthen his case for Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. The Browns have struggled all season with top receivers, meaning Courtland Sutton will extend his streak of posting at least 70 receiving yards to six games. But look for a play-action touchdown to Troy Franklin to key the victory as Denver takes over in the second half, turning everybody’s favorite backup, Jameis Winston, into a turnover machine. Sean Keeler, columnist: Broncos 26, Browns 18 This one’s for Jerry. Some divorces are healthy, and the Broncos and Jerry Jeudy splitting probably helped both parties long-term. Speaking of help, Jeudy ended up being flipped for two picks, one of which got flipped into another that turned into Troy Franklin. Jameis Winston’s found a rapport with Jeudy, which is cute, but the former’s also been sacked 12 times in his last four starts, including six takedowns by the Chargers. The Brownies have been giant killers at home, but they’ve also produced some giant stinkers on the road. This oughta be another. He’s the first Denver defender since 2018 to hit double-digit sacks and he’s shown no signs of slowing down with five games left on the docket. Broncos DT Malcolm Roach proven to be valuable offseason addition Malcolm Roach can be himself in Denver, and that has made all the difference. On pace to have his best year as a pass rusher and a run stopper, the defensive tackle has proven to be a valuable offseason addition for the Broncos, and he credits his success to defensive coordinator Vance Joseph tapping into what he does best. In Roach’s fifth season in the league, the undrafted free agent has 29 tackles in 328 defensive snaps — a career-high. While players like Nik Bonitto, Zach Allen and Jonathon Cooper have been credited for Denver’s dominance as a pass rush unit, Roach has made a steady impact, totaling eight pressures and a career-best 2.5 sacks, according to NFL’s Next Gen Stats. Broncos secondary feels prepared if CB Riley Moss (knee) can’t play Monday night: “We’ve got a lot of talent on this team” No matter how healthy a team stays, the NFL season will always test depth eventually. The Broncos are feeling that now, at least to some degree. One place Denver is confident in its depth: Cornerback. When Riley Moss injured his knee Sunday at Las Vegas, veteran Levi Wallace stepped in and played solid. Read Parker Gabriel’s full story. Want more Broncos news?
