PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police responded Monday to a crash at the corner of Elmwood and Atlantic avenues in Providence. A minivan crashed into the front of Sophia Academy, a middle school for girls. At least one ambulance was seen leaving the scene, but it's still unclear if anyone was seriously injured. The building appeared to have sustained minor damage.
